Common Help Topics
Receipt Scanning
- Grant camera access when prompted
- Make sure the receipt is well lit and fully visible
- If AI receipt parsing fails, you can still enter items manually
Household Sync
- Sync is optional and only turns on after you create or join a household
- You can disable sync from the app if you no longer want cross-device sharing
Purchases and Price Tracking
- Add items manually if you do not want to scan a receipt
- Review past purchases to track price changes across stores
- Use the product history views to compare trends over time
Permissions
- Camera access is needed for scanning receipts
- Photo library access is needed if you want to choose a receipt image from your device
Data and Privacy Help
PriceTrack stores data locally by default. If you enable household sync, your data may also be synced across your devices. If you have questions about your data, privacy, or deletion requests, contact support using the email above.
